Fabric & Foam Forming

Want to create a custom addition or covering for your bicycle, vehicle or create a custom costume piece?  If so, this is the class for you!  You will learn to build a lightweight base and apply fabric or to mold lightweight foam to create a custom form or sculpture, or create a decorative piece to transform an existing item.  Falon Mahalic, a long-term bike afficianado will walk you through the process, explaining the tools and glues while demonstrating the techniques on her bicycle's Unicorn head and will help bring YOUR vision to life. If you can imagine it, you can create it with these versatile materials!

 

All materials are supplied, and no previous experience is needed. 

This class is $45 per student and includes all materials for one project. Houston Makerspace and ArtX Members discounted fee is $33.75.
