The Day of the Dead (el Día de los Muertos), is a Mexican holiday where families welcome back the souls of their deceased relatives for a brief reunion that includes food, drink and celebration. In this workshop you will make a mini shrine to add to your family ofrenda or to stand on it's own in honor of the departed. You can decorate your mini-shrine with markers, paints or objects and pictures glued onto the back plate.
