We will be participating in a group project every Tuesday evening through June. Join us to practice your metal arts skills! Not just for women, novice dudes can come along as well!
Pre-requisite - beginner welding class or equivalent experience. Wear appropriate clothing if planning to weld or grind.

Join us to roll in Mardi Gras Galveston's Krewe D'iHeart Media Art Car Parade - a tradition on the Strand! Art Cars receive a case of beads for 1, entry to the strand and gas money. ArtX members will also receive Saturday balcony tickets.

Eliminate the fear factor! Learn to weld from a master - Lisa Nigro, creator of the 110' Draka the Dragon. Workshop participants will receive instruction in the use of a MIG (wire-feed) welding machine and other metal fabrication tools, techniques, and equipment; i.e. grinders, chop saw, etc. Some steel and scrap metal will be provided; feel free to bring in your own steel or found objects that inspire you to create.
ArtX Members receive a 20% discount. There will be a 30 minute midday break and supervised worktime afterward to finish your project.
