Open studio time, regardless of how long you stay for the day, is $10 for non-members, $5 for ArtX Members, and free for HMS Members. Members should call the front desk to sign up with their discounted pricing: 713.808.9708

Non-certified students will need to clean up their area and exit the shop before studio time ends, as students must have a shop certification in order to work independently.

Walk-ins are welcome, however we highly encourage welders to sign up ahead of time. If we do not have any sign-ups the day before, studio time may be cancelled.

This is a fun, physical way to experience "flow" - a feeling of energized, creative focus and is fun for all ages!  You’ll be provided with practice Poi, learn skill-building exercises, and practice those exercises under the guidance of professional Flow Artists.  Once you've mastered the movements, you can spin anything -- even rubber chickens!

Free for Students and their parents in District B.  This project is funded by a grant from the City of Houston through Houston Arts Alliance.

Students at this unique STEM educational summer camp will have the opportunity to build their own professional grade 3D printer.  Attendees will learn to operate the printer and the software, and will fabricate and assemble the printer.  During the one-week camp, students will be given instruction by teachers with engineering and technical backgrounds who will assure that each camper is successful in constructing and operating their printer. Through this camp, attendees will be exposed to Electronics, Engineering concepts, CAD, and Design.  These disciplines are all aligned with national STEM learning objectives, and will help the camper in building a strong STEM core for future work.

Ages 13-17.  Sibling discount available
