Learn how to yarnbomb anything - your bike, car, lamppost, mailbox - you name it you can create a yarnstorm. Artist Joe Haden will be joined by Bill Davenport, the "godfather" of yarnbombing. They have yarnbombed bikes, art cars, tea kettles, lampposts and a few things they haven't told us about. It's a simple quick way to decorate just about anything! Bring along an object you'd like to cover and Joe and Bill will step you through the process. Knitting skills not necessary. $2-$10 materials fee.

This one is for Women Only! Learn basic metal fabrication techniques and equipment such as mig welding, grinders, chop saws, and other metal-working tools – everything you need to learn to build your own sculpture. You can choose to make artwork for your yard or an African mask-style wall sculpture. Materials will be steel and/or found metal. Safety instruction and safety gear included. There will be a midday break for lunch during this 6-hour class and additional studio time is available if desired. Wear long pants, long sleeve shirt and closed toe shoes. Bring bandana if desired. $0-$15 materials fee.

Join us to make your own personal version of Valentine Day cards! Shelly Buschur of illuminated costume fame will inspire you with her designs and guide you in creating your own. We will provide the basics: cardstock, colored papers, jeweled bits, doilies, etc. Please bring a few of your own collage-able bits of wonderfulness to add to the fun and personallize your valentines! Feel free to bring your own beverages - we'll also have a special valentine cocktail for you to sample.
